I take chemo pills to fight the cancer.

Then I take pills to battle the side effects of those pills.

Then I drink gallons of water to remove the toxins from my body.

Then I run to the bathroom.

I do this every day.

Water is now one of your main food groups.

You need to stay hydrated for a variety of reasons.

I did an extensive review of water bottles at Target the other day. Here’s what I found:

Stanley bottles are hard to open. Look for a twist top that is easy to open.

40-ounce bottles are pretty heavy when filled – about 4.5 pounds!

Make sure the bottle fits in your car’s cup holder.

You might prefer a straw or a “chug” style spout. Your choice.

Handles can be on top, on the side, or none at all. Your choice.

Look for stainless steel, not plastic. Gotta be wary of those microplastics!

My choice:

Owala 30-ounce with chug spout and straw (I don’t use the straw). It has a nice carrying handle that feels good in my hand. Also, the chug spout is nicely angled and curved so that you can drink easily. They seem to have thought of everything.
